Hi all, my name is Alex, and I’m the person behind new epiphanies. Along with being a writer, I’m also an artist, youth minister, committed coffee drinker, lover of the saints, and big supporter of the Oxford Comma.

New epiphanies all started several years ago when I was a missionary on a college campus, and had a desire to continue to write. I talked myself out of posting most of the time, but I’m here to try again! Life has had several ups and downs since then, and I imagine many more of both are still to come, but one thing has remained a constant: beauty.
Beauty continues to move me, and make me better. God consistently uses it to bring me back to Him, even in times when it seems impossible. Now, more than ever, words and art form new breath for me – like God makes me new each time I create.

So, thanks for being here, friend. I pray these words can offer small comforts.
